D-Day 80th Celebrations in Dawes Lane, Buckland

80th anniversary of D-Day celebration

This free event on Thursday 6th June 2024, will take place in Buckland behind St Andrew’s Church at the same site that we host our annual bonfire event. Start time 7.00pm

We do need to gauge the attendance for this celebration for the catering. Fish, Chips and mushy peas supper to be served to those with pre-booked tickets from 7.30pm.

The International Tribute and Lighting of the Beacon at 9.15pm. Please feel free to bring your own lanterns to light with us at 9.15pm.
